HTC Touch Diamond ROM Upgrade

New ROM brings enhanced response speed and usability improvement to highlight this gem’s size, style connectivity and user experience

The HTC Touch Diamond new ROM is now available for download on the HTC e-Club’s website. Added to this great news, the upgraded CE application – which allows the device to view and write Chinese and Japanese is also available for download.

Key improvements of the new ROM code include enabled GSM 850 band, enhanced switching and response speed of TouchFLO 3D, and reduced loading time of home pages. A random access bar will also be added to the right hand edge of the phone screen to allow for easy selection of weather, countries and cities.

To obtain the latest ROM, users must register as HTC e-Club member and log-on to http://www.asia.htc.com/HTC_SEA/member/login.aspx?logout=true

The upgraded CE-Star application can also be downloaded for free from the same website, or at Singapore’s HTC Care Centre, or HTC Care Authorized Service Centre.
